Nesta reserva houve um erro do trip, que aceitou a reserva quando o hotel já não tinha nenhum alojamento disponível. Valeu-nos o Sr. Paulo que foi super prestável e atencioso, e disponibilizou-nos um apartamento muito melhor do que tínhamos reservado e sem alterar o preço. Um apartamento super espaço e confortável, com acesso a piscina da casa. Pequeno-almoço excelente.

1st things 1st....yes there is a hill, yes it is steep, especially the last 100 meters but you are told this when you look up the hotel, pace yourself and you'll be grand. A lovely quite hotel, we arrived late, 10pm and there was a phone that you rang and was given an a code of a deposit box with our keys and details in it, we thought this was a great idea as it is a small family run hotel and it is unrealistic to expect the reception to be manned all the time. Our room, balcony and bathroom were large, airy and spotlessly clean. There was a mini bar and safe available in the room too, our mini bar wasn't working but as soon as we reported this, it was replaced. There was also a tray with sandwiches, snacks and juice left in our room because we were half board, a very nice touch. The only thing we didn't like about the room was the mattress,far to firm for us but this is our personal preference. The honestly bar is nice too, a fully stocked bar with a good selection of everything and you just write what you take down on the sheet and it is added to the room, the only thing that we found a little confusing was the sign saying that the ice machine was only for the drinks from the honestly bar but maybe this is just how it's done there. The breakfast are gorgeous!!!!! Lots of choice from the buffet, personally we would have loved the English sausages everyday😂 but everything was fresh, hot and very tasty. We were half board, so a menu is left by reception and you order from that before 2pm for that night. Unfortunately we do not eat fish or pork or creamy sauce so we had the chicken pie and steak most nights, these were very tasty but maybe a little of the gravy that is over the chicken pie could go on the steak too? Desserts were lovely, especially the lime pie! The swimming pool area is small but perfect, plenty off seats by the pool, 2 separate chill out zones and a lovely jacuzzi with a spa too, I would recommend the 30 min back massage, one of the best ever! The pool isn't heated but with it hitting 29-30 degrees heat when we were then, I loved this as it cooled me right down. Last of all, all the staff we meet were lovely and very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a party hotel, look elsewhere but if you're looking for a lovely relaxing hotel then this is it.

2nd time visiting this hotel, and would definitely return again. All staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. The right place to be if you just want to relax and have some peace. The marina is in walking distance, as is the old town, although it is quite steep when walking back, but taxi rides cost roughly 5€. The pool area is beautiful, and as the hotel is small, there are enough sunbeds for everyone. Would recommend this hotel 😊

This is a tough one as there is nothing basically wrong with Cerro da Marina but it could be so much better. There are rules and additional charges for lots of items which niggle. A kettle and tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be handy and appreciated as would fresh drinking water each day. Having to pay to use the pool table seemed harsh too and whilst the honesty bar is handy having someone serve you at busy times makes you feel as if you are on holiday! It is also worth mentioning that although the hotel is close to the old town area of Albufiera the walk back is almost all uphill so bear this in mind if you are not that fit! If you go there with children be warned that balls and rubber rings are not allowed in the very clean and inviting swimming pool which may be tough if you are teaching your kids to swim…… On a positive note the rooms are big and well cleaned and the breakfast buffet is generous although completely self service including laying the tables and making coffee and tea. Basically you just don’t get served. We never sampled the evening meals as you had to decide if you wanted one by 2pm and the choice was limited. I hope this is helpful and gives an accurate picture. It may suit many and remains reasonably priced but just lacked warmth and hospitality.

Thank you Paulo and your team for making our recent short 4 night stay one of pure relaxation. We enjoyed the quiet location just a 10 -15 minute walk away from the centre of Albufeira. The hotel offers a daytime drop off and pick up service for a small charge which we used. We stayed bed and breakfast and found the breakfast to be very good with a vast choice available every morning. If you are looking for a small intimate hotel for a chill out break to get away from it all Cerro da Marina is well worth your consideration.

Really lovely small hotel out of the way of town in a quiet area. (Note the walk to town has steps and inclines) We stayed bed and breakfast for 4 nights and was perfect for what we needed. A family friendly feel to the hotel and a great base location if wanting to walk into town or to the beach and also perfect for relaxing by the pool. Breakfast was a really good selection and the honesty bar is a great idea for a small hotel and also had plenty of options. The hotel has lots of sun loungers and is lovely and quiet in the grounds. The rooms are very spacious and clean with a good outdoor space. Would definitely stay again.
